With the “Donate instead of Printing” campaign, Häring has been bringing joy to institutions and people who are particularly dependent on help for six years now. In 2024, donations will once again go to social projects at Häring locations:
In Germany: Kreisverkehrswacht Tuttlingen e.V.
Kreisverkehrswacht Tuttlingen is an organization that is committed to promoting road safety in the district of Tuttlingen. It is primarily committed to educating and training road users in order to prevent accidents and raise awareness of safe driving. To this end, the Kreisverkehrswacht offers various programs, such as road safety education in schools, prevention measures and lessons to improve driving behavior. The organization works closely with other institutions and authorities to continuously improve road safety in the region.
In Poland: fundraising campaign for Patryk with cancer
18-year-old Patryk lives in Piotrków Trybunalski and is battling cancer for the fifth time. His lengthy treatment is very expensive and only possible abroad.
Patryk's case was unusual right from the start: it began when he was nine years old and went to the doctor with abdominal pain. An ultrasound examination revealed a 14 centimeter malignant tumor - a neuroblastoma.
After many years of an incredibly difficult and exhausting battle against cancer, he had hoped to enter adulthood in good health. But now the disease has returned, and brave Patryk is fighting cancer again.
In China: Jinlang Middle School
Jinlang Middle School in Taicang is a rural middle school with around 470 students. Due to its small size, it has very limited public funding.
The importance of education is not very high in comparison - Häring's Christmas donation therefore not only aims to provide material support - such as stationery and other school supplies - but also to open up new prospects for the students. A particular highlight of the fundraising campaign was students´ visit to Häring, where they were able to experience German culture and learn more about intelligent manufacturing.
In the USA: Support for hurricane victims
The regions surrounding the Häring site in Lavonia, GA, were devastated by Hurricane Helene this year. Many people lost everything - cars, homes and all the belongings inside.
The relief donation will go primarily to students in Western North Carolina - for new school supplies and some normalcy and hope for the future.
Häring wishes you all a Merry Christmas and perhaps the “Donate instead of Printing” campaign will inspire you to support a cause too.
